Tis the season to be .........humbled.

Today is Christmas day and we have had a really nice one. I will post about it tomorrow. For today I wanted to share about a trip I took 2 days ago to deliver Christmas gifts to a loads of the orphans that we care for.
A couple of weeks ago we had some really bad storms and when we went to the valley I realised just how bad these storms had been. So many homes had been totally destroyed. Below are 2 of the homes that some of our orphans live in.

They have lost their home. And today they are staying with neighbours.
Not such a Merry Christmas. The home across the valley is in even worse condition.

Now 11 people are living in this hut.

Please pray for the families that we work with. While we are enjoying our beautiful trees, yummy dinner and exciting gifts these children are just praying that God will provide a meal and a home for them tomorrow.

MERRY CHRISTMAS.

So humbling. Thank you for the images, it is good to have perspective in our season of holiday excess. It is wonderful that you are doing such important work in this needy area of the world. Merry Christmas!
