Urgent Prayer.

Hi everyone, I have yet another urgent prayer request. Martin's father passed away a couple of days before Christmas from cancer, now Mart's step- mother is also dying. She fought and over came breast cancer a few years ago, last week we found out that the cancer is back, this time in her brain and spine. Doctors are not positive and she is really suffering. Please pray for her. Her name is Jan. Jan has a son called Ben who is the same age as Martin and Ben is married with 2 children. Please pray for Ben and Anna and the 2 little ones. Please also pray for Martin's brother Rich as he has been the one spending most of his time by Jan's side. Rich is really struggling emotionally with this as it was not long ago that he was in the same place with is dad. Please pray also for Rich's health as he was diagnosed with ME a couple of months ago, this is really taking a toll on him as he is a physical ed, teacher. The ME is leaving him feeling drained and then on top of that he is spending alot of time in hospital with Jan.

My heart is very heavy as none of these amazing people know the Lord. And peace is being kept at bay by the stress and worry of what tomorrow holds.

Thank you for your prayers.

The saddest line was at the end - none of them know the Lord. Praying that yours & Martin's life are a living witness to them, and that they know more than let on. God is merciful.

So sorry to hear about the cancer. My husband's father passed away a year ago from lung cancer. It was a complete shock. He never smoked and it is still such a painful realization. But he knew the Lord, so that makes everything bearable. I will definitely be praying for you and your family.

Praying for her... That she would come to know the Lord and have peace through her suffering and hope of eternity with Him. Praying for the Lord to minister to you all as well, as you prepare to face the loss of another loved one.
