Fun at the lake.

Today a load of our new friends from church came to visit the land on which we are building our children's home. It was so hot we decided to get in the lake and have a splash. It was such a great day and I am so thankful to God for bringing new friends into my life. That has been the biggest struggle for me. Moving to South Africa with no one but Martin and having to start a life with no friends or support from people who understand us. Finally we are in a fantastic church that has loads of couples who are our age, most have children that are the same age as our boys and all are feeling the call to "do more" for the Kingdom of God. It's not enough to just be a christian any more, there has to be more to it that just going to church on a Sunday and going to cell group. These new friends want to make a difference in their country and I am so excited that they are getting along side Mart and I and asking "what can we do?".
God Is so faithful in answering my prayers for friends!

Having a paddle with some of the local kids. Not sure what I am doing here!

Hi. I found your blog through another blog. Are you a missionary? Are you building an orphanage? How do you like South Africa? I hope to go through and read more of your blog.
