Today is a Valentine's day special........2 questions to answer.........Ready????......
1) How did you spend your Valentine's Day? What did you get? What did you do?
2) A list of your top reasons/things that would have made it even better.
Well Mart and I have been pretty much skint for the past few weeks. Saturday night we had R4 and some change to our names.....not very Valentine's day friendly. So we decided that it was all good. We would go to church and hang out at home with the kids for the day.
We went to church and when we got home Gogo and Cindy offered to look after the boys so that we could go out. Not having any money we told them not to worry we were going to stay home.
Then Mart's mum called to let us know that she had just put some money into our account so that we could go out on a date!!!!!!!
So we dumped the kids (sorry boys) and we drove back down to Glenwood, which is the area where our church is and our fav place to be. We decided to try out a Moroccan cafe there and we were SSOoooooo glad we did. It was awesome!
I had a rose petal and lime Mojito....BLISS!!!!!
Then we drove to the mall and had a wander round looking for some underwear!.....Not not Valentine's underwear....what are you lot like??!!!!!
Just regular every day underwear, we both need some new stuff. Well the lines were too long and we decided to give up on that and got an iced Latte instead.
And bought the boys a copy of this book........
We then drove home and spent some time with the kids before going back out and eating as much sushi as we could!
And the rest is a secret!
As far as what would have made it better.......NOTHING! We had a fantastic day. Last year was a rough one for us as a couple and getting to spend time together was a thing that NEVER happened. This year we are pursuing each other and our marriage and let me tell you........IT'S WORKING!!!!!!!!
