Back down to earth! With a loud and heavy thud!

We are finally home after 7 weeks in the UK. We had a wonderful time. Our journey took 29 hours! 7 hours longer than it was supposed to!!! When we finally made it we got to the house to find out that we had no water and no power...AAAggghhhh! the power came back in every room apart from our bedroom, bathroom and living room. So I am sitting on the couch in the dark with Joe posting this blog. Joe has a pen wrapped up in a piece of paper...its a rocket ship (said with a lisp!). I love his imagination.
I have so much to blog about and a couple of them are brewing in my mind, maybe I will get chance to sit down and put my thoughts into a post some time this week. At the moment we are just trying to get back into the swing of things. Tomorrow the kids start a new school term and they are very excited to go back after our long trip away. I thought I would share their Bento lunches that I have made for their first day back to school.
Meat balls, cheese and cucumber teddy bears and cherry tomatoes. Apples and Satsuma. Hope they like it!! So when I get back to normal (as normal as it gets around here) I will get back into the Blogging flow.

Welcome home!!! I love the bentos too- and I have always wanted to start those for the girls- so you have inspired me yet again! Hope you recover quickly from jet lag and get back to normal routine at home!

hi there! Discovered your blog via Thankful Thursday. Great list! Those lunchboxes look fantastic. I have a little one due to start school in August and that has given me great inspiration for packed lunches.

Love your blog.
