What in the World and they thinking????

I really feel that Hollywood has ALOT to answer for. There are so many films that have caused so much damage over the years and now I have just heard of a new one that as an adoptive parent I feel should not be released. The movie is called 'Orphan' and is the story of a couple who loose their biological child and decide to adopt a child, sounds good right??!! WRONG..... this film is a horror film and the tag line is "there is something wrong with Esther". The child that is adopted in this film is evil. WHAT IS HOLLYWOOD THINKING??!!!!!
Please join me and many other adoptive and non-adoptive parents and sign the petition in disagreement to the release of this film.
Visit this site and sign....PLEASE on behalf of ALL children needing a forever family.

Thank you on behalf of the voiceless orphans of the world.

Wow.. that is tacky. Hollywood really doesn't think sometimes. It's all about the money.

Stopping by from SITS. You were the blog in front of mine!

Nice to meet you!!

ohmygosh. Are they THAT desperate to put something - anything - on the screen these days?? Should this movie ever see the light of day, I hope 10 movies will come shortly after promoting wonderful adoption experiences.

I think the "stepmom" image will forever be tarnished by Cinderella, so much so we need a new phrase to call these MOM's. soon we'll need a new phrase for "adopted" that has a positive, warm, cuddly, loving vibe to it.

Ugh. Hollywood. Steve and I, just being in California, were talking about it. We feel that California should force Hollywood to succeed and be it's own country. It certainly seems to be anyway...
