Please Pray for my friends.

There are times in our lives when everything that we thought we knew and everything you thought would be, all change in an instant and life is turned upside down. I had one of these times in my life when I lived in Canada. I was 20 years old and my world as I knew it was dumped on its head. At the time it was hell but now looking back I know it was God's way of getting me to where He wanted me to be. In His will.

During this time I felt so alone and didn't know where to go or where to turn. But thankfully God had bought an amazing family into my life who stuck by me and held on to me and helped me through this time. That family was the MacEacherns.Krista (that's the blonde, married to Russ in the yellow.) was my closest friend during all of it and Shawn (in the grey) was ALWAYS there when I needed someone to cheer me up or talk to. And Russ (in the yellow) was a big brother to me and could always make me laugh.

Dougie and Helen were my parents away from home and they always had a hug and sound advice for me when I needed it!8 years ago Helen had to have a kidney removed due to cancer. Now 8 years later she has just found out that the cancer has returned, this time in her pelvic bone. The doctors are saying that there is nothing that they can do. Thank God that He is bigger than any doctor and His healing power is stronger than any type of therapy that there is. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE join me in praying for Helen. She has a loving, God trusting family standing around her during this time and her faith is strong, but we all know how the enemy will use this time to try and attack her faith and her walk with God as well as her body. Please pray for Dougie, he is so in love with his wife and to see her go through this for a 2nd time is so hard. Please pray for their 2 sons, Russ and Shawn and for their daughter-in -law Krista and their kids that God will give them peace and strengthen their faith.

I wish I could be there just as they were there for me during my hard time. But I can't so what can I do other than to pray. I know you will pray with me. Thank you all so much for standing with me and lifting the amazing family up to Him.
