Home again, Home again.

WE ARE HOME!!!! I just spent the worst 5 days of my life in Crompton Hospital with Joe. Today the doctor decided that he was well enough to be sent home, he did however send him home with 7 medications and strict instructions that Joe must not run around! Ok you try telling a 3 year old boy who has been in a hospital bed for 5 days, not to run around!

I am so thankful to the staff of the children's ward at Crompton hospital, who were so kind and gentle with my boy. They kept me so well informed and were so understanding when I was not doing good.
Joe met some great friends and when he was up to it he was aloud out of bed for an hour at a time to play with them. It's weird but although I was so happy to be going home I did feel a twinge of sadness at leaving the ward behind. Saying goodbye to the kids who have been there for months and will be there for many weeks to come. Some of them did not even have 1 visitor in the 5 days that we were there. My heart is sad for them. And I will continue to pray for these little ones that seem to have been forgotten. Please join me in prayer.

I will. No child should be forgotten.

On a somewhat lighter note, I enjoyed how bored Joe looked in your one photo. Yeah, don't run around...
