A little while ago I was really missing New York and everything American. I posted about my homesickness and my bloggy friend Cristy decided to send me a care package! Well today it arrived!!!! I can not tell you how excited I was as I waited in line to pick up my package from the post office. I didn't wait to get home....I couldn't!!!!! So I sat in the car park in the 38 degree heat and opened my big box. This is what I found!

Lots of treats...I put the M&M's in Joe and Jesse's stockings so that they wouldn't see them!
The Vanilla and the food coloring is for baking....let the fun begin!
AND...........3 tons of Chocolate Chips, which are now in the freezer so that they don't melt.Cristy thank you SO, SO, SO much. I love all my treats.....But the one gift that was better than all the rest was this one ......
Sweet Aria drew me a picture of a Christmas tree. I managed to open the box at the bottom and so I didn't find this until I had taken everything else out. I was totally overwhelmed and burst into tears! It amazes me that someone who I have never met in person would do this for me. Cristy thank you for caring and encouraging me.

I've been reading your blog since Chatty Kelly suggested it...we're from Chicago, and we just got care packages a few days ago! I never realized how exciting it could be to open mac and cheese and instant cake mixes!
