Martin and I used to live in Brooklyn New York working for an organization called Metro Ministries. It is an inner city children's ministry. We were for there for 5 years when we decided to get married. For our wedding gift Mart's mum got us round the world tickets, what an amazing blessing! Part of our trip was 3 weeks in Manila, Philippines. We have a Metro base there and our very good friend Wendy runs it. So we went to stay with them and helped with the ministry. They run Sunday school programs for the children who live in the garbage dumps of Manila. They now reach over 20.000 children a week with the gospel of Jesus Christ! What an amazing opportunity to work along side these amazing people. Here are some of the photos from our trip.
